Report a boiler price that looks wrong

Use this form to report a boiler price on this site that does not match a quote or an invoice you have had. We check every report, and we would rather fix a page than defend it.

Printed boiler quotes on a kitchen table with a calculator and a pen.

The most useful thing you can tell us. It goes straight into our next price review.

Handled by Web3Forms, who pass it to us by email. See our privacy policy.

What happens next

Every report is read. If our figure is wrong we correct it and update the review date on the page, usually within five working days. If it turns out to be right, there is often a local reason worth explaining, and that gets added too.

We publish guide prices, not quotations, so a difference of a few hundred pounds on a large job is not necessarily an error. A figure that is out by half almost certainly is.

What to include in a boiler price report

The most useful report names the page, the make and model or the boiler type, the output, and what the quote or invoice covered. Say whether the figure included VAT, the flue, a filter and the removal of the old boiler, and roughly where in the country the work was done. With that, we can compare like with like.

Where our boiler prices come from

Every price on the site is built from published UK sources, which are listed on the page that uses them, and shown with VAT. Our pricing method explains how, and the combi boiler prices page shows every type and model side by side. If you are still weighing quotes, the compare tool puts them on the same footing.
